Another shoebox find courtesy Jose, EA5BCQ. The operator in the picture lived to 92 years of age. In actual fact he was more famous than he realised – for many years he was the only active radio ham from his country. Back in the day he used a Heathkit HW-100 and two crystals (one for CW, one for SSB) – he could only use two bands as per the licensing regulation then.
