THE PERSEID METEOR SHOWER IS UNDERWAY: <\/strong>Today, Aug. 13th, Earth is passing through a stream of debris from Comet Swift-Tuttle, source of the annual Perseid meteor shower<\/a>. We won’t see as many Perseids as usual because the meteor shower is competing with the nearly-full Moon. Only the brightest Perseids will be visible through the glare.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
