THE EXPLOSIONS CONTINUE:\u00a0<\/strong>In the past 24 hours, active sunspot AR3078 has produced four\u00a0M-class<\/a>\u00a0solar flares and more than a dozen\u00a0C-flares<\/a>. Most of the explosions hurled debris into space. Here’s a sample C-class event at the end of Aug. 18th:<\/p>\n\n\n\n The blast was bookended by similar explosions hours earlier and later.
