Annual Meeting

October 13, 2004

The President, VY2FF, called the annual meeting to order at 7:51 p.m. with 14 members present: VY2CGA, VY2FF, VY2EUV, VY2WA, VY2AA, VY2ROC, VY2RU, VY2GIB, VY2CK, VY2GD, VE1CM, VY2WRV, VY2EFA, and Claudette.

The minutes of the last meeting were read. Moved by Gib VY2GIB and seconded by Richard VY2WRV to approve minutes as read. All in favor. Motion carried.

Business arising from minutes: Bill VY2FF and John VE1CM presented a certificate and plaque to Lloyd VY2CQ.

Correspondence: None

Election of Officers: Ken VY2RU took the chair as the nominating committee. The nominating committee put forward the following names for each position: President – Richard Veale VY2WRV, Vice-President – Wayne Ellis VY2WA, Secretary – Rodney Mann VY2CGA, and Treasurer – Yvan Royer VY2EUV.

Ken asked three times from the floor for nominations for the position of President. Moved by Gib VY2GIB and seconded by Bill VY2FF to cease nominations. Motion carried. Richard Elected by acclamation. Ken asked three times from the floor for the position of Vice-President. Moved by Gib VY2GIB and seconded by Real VY2ROC to cease nominations. Wayne VY2WA elected by acclamation. Ken asked three times from the floor for the position of Secretary. Moved by Gib VY2GIB and seconded by Gerry VY2GD to cease nominations. Rodney VY2CGA elected by acclamation. Ken asked three times from the floor for the position of Treasurer. Moved by Gib VY2GIB and seconded by Eddie VY2EFA to cease nominations. Yvan VY2EUV elected by acclamation.

New Business: None

Moved by Adam VY2AA and seconded by Clare VY2CK to adjourn. All in favor. Motion carried. Annual meeting adjourned at 8:02 p.m.
