Annual Meeting

October 13, 2006

The Vice-President, VY2AA, called the Annual meeting to order at 8:37 p.m. with 14 members present: VY2FF, VY2RU, VY2CK, VY2GD, VY2AA, VY2DS, VE1PEI, VY2SG, Marie, VE1EO, VY2CGA, VY2EUV, VY2RO and VE1MTH.

The minutes of the last meeting were read. Moved by Ken VY2RU and seconded by Bob VY2RO to approve minutes as read. All in favor. Motion carried.

Business arising from minutes: None

Correspondence: None

Election of Officers: Bill VY2FF took the chair as the nominating committee. The nominating committee put forward the following names for each position: President – Adam Campbell VY2AA, Vice-President – Bob Gaudet VY2RG, Secretary – Richard Veale VY2WRV, and Treasurer – Marie McNeil.

Adam Elected by acclamation. Bill asked three times from the floor for the position of Vice-President. Moved by Bob VY2RO and seconded by Douglas VY2DS to cease nominations. Bob VY2RG elected by acclamation. Bill asked three times from the floor for the position of Secretary. Moved by Bob VY2RO and seconded by Douglas VY2DS to cease nominations. Richard VY2WRV elected by acclamation. Bill asked three times from the floor for the position of Treasurer. Moved by Bob VY2RO and seconded by Douglas VY2DS to cease nominations. Marie elected by acclamation. There was applause for the thank you for their hard work for the outgoing executive and for the new beginnings for the newly elected executive.

Moved by Douglas VY2DS and seconded by Ken VY2RU to adjourn. All in favor. Motion carried. Annual meeting adjourned at 8:50 p.m.
