** Thanks to the individuals who put the island/group and mode (which is very important) on their QSNs on their PacketCluster reports. The format we suggest is “Mode/IOTA#/Island or Group” (ex. FT8/OC-146/Celebes).

AS-051. Jean-Philippe, F1TMY (J28PJ), who is usually active as 3X2021 (interesting and correct callsign) from Conakry, Guinea, since mid-September, announced that he would be active as 3X2021/P from the Los Islands this past weekend. Activity would be mainly on FT4 (ex. he like 17/15m). Length of stay was not mentioned. QSL via ClubLog.

NA-069. (Update) Members of the Englewood Amateur Radio Society (EARS) [N4EAR] are expected to activate Gasparilla Island State Park, FL, as N4EAR between January 29-30th. Operators mentioned are William/K7WWR, Mark/KB8WXI, Robert/KN4RKE, Ken/W1NQT, William/W2CWL, Jim/W4AII and Herman/WA9LFQ. The team will be participating in Winter Field Day. They will be operating on 20 and 40 meters SSB. Activity will start at 1900 hours UTC and operating until 2309 (Sundown) due to the park closing at dusk.
While it is not an official lighthouse weekend, they will be broadcasting from Boca Grande Lighthouse. If you would like to make a QSO with a lighthouse, this is a good one. They will resume operating at sun-up 1216 UTC on Sunday Jan. 30th to 1900 as Field Day ends. QSL via LoTW.

OC-143. Operators Ira/YB5CHJ, Syam/YB5HPT, Yan/YB5MB, Ron/YC5ACD, Pak/YC5ARZ, Yanti/YC5LBD, Ade/YD5ABD, Riki/YD5AKV, Rahil/YD5APT and possibly several others will be active as homecall/P from Tahara Bung Hatta, West Sumatra, Indonesia, on January 22nd. Activity will be on 80/40/20/15 meters using SSB and the Digital modes.

PLEASE NOTE: Since the Webmasters of the have decided NOT to post or dedicate a Web page to announce upcoming IOTA operations, PLEASE send your IOTA operations information to the OPDX, and we will post it here in an upcoming bulletin……
