Even though this presentation was made at the 2005 FDMI Dayton Symposium by Paul Harden NA5N, it is still relevant today. Hopefully it will shed some light on what all the numbers…flux, K-Index, A Index and flares mean and relate to when I post “Propagation and Space Weather” each day on the Summerside ARC’s site ( http://www.summersidearc.com/ ) or when you come across these items on other sites.
